Realizing the importance of staying ahead of the curve in a very competitive marketplace, the company was looking for an innovative and cost-effective system that could support many goals from one platform: Manage frequently changing versions of sales and product collateral, Boost sales productivity, Reduce printing timelines and avoid unnecessary printed inventory, Educate medical staff in correct usage of dozens of products, Strengthen relationships with individual customers, and Allow sales reps to customize marketing materials while Marketing controls a consistent brand image.

Evatone, a single-source architect and provider of imaginative media solutions worked with Smith & Nephew product and marketing staff to develop a new custom-built interactive business tool to meet all of these goals.

The solution enables Smith & Nephew sales and marketing representatives to prepare specific collateral materials based on the dozens of Smith & Nephew skin care products, repurpose or update existing collateral and customize text and photos for each customer. Additionally, the collateral pieces could be printed "on demand" and dispatched immediately for sales presentations.

Results Re:source Rabbit™ enabled Smith & Nephew's sales force to easily access product materials. The program minimized the costs associated with printing and maintaining large inventories, and provided Smith & Nephew with greater control over their marketing materials. Brand integrity was preserved while reps have the ability to communicate with each customer as an individual.

The administration section allows Smith & Nephew to monitor user access and control the creation, modification and ordering processes
