There are a few lawyer bloggers in The Pharma Blogosphere and there are a few PR people blogging as well. But Mark Senak is unique in that he is both a lawyer AND a PR guy!
Mark’s blog — EyeOnFDA — was started in May, 2006 and the first post concerned crisis management at the FDA. The FDA seems stuck in crisis management so there is no fear that Mark will run out of FDA topics on which to keep his eye.
Mark Senak, the author of the EyeOnFDA blog, is an attorney with over twenty years of experience offering a blend of law, communications, public health and public relations. He is also employed with Fleishman-Hillard, a healthcare communications/PR firm.
As is evident from reading his blog, Senak is an authority on regulatory aspects of communications and medical products, with particular emphasis on pre-approval communications. As a strategist Senak helps pharma and biotech companies prepare for advisory committee approval of products.
Senak is also the author of three books examining issues of law, health policy and HIV as well as the rights of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community.
