Maximize Your Contacts

Making new contacts who may help you find new business is what this event is all about. My job is to help you maximize your contacts at this event. Here are a few of my ideas for doing that:

  • Each attendee will be given a complimentary account on the Pharma Marketing Network Forums where they are invited to post information about their business and networking goals. Attendees can set up a “buddy list” comprised of other attendees and send private communications to each other before and after the meeting. This is a great way to “pre-qualify” and notify those people who you would like to meet at the dinner.

  • At the event, each attendee will be given a “Networking Dance Card” that lists all the names of attendees with interests similar to those the attendee selected during the registration process. The goal is to meet as many of the people on the dance card as possible and obtain their initials. If you meet with the minimum number of people indicated on your card, you are eligible to enter your business card to win a Category Sponsorship Listing in the online Pharma Marketing Vendor Directory (value: $295) dollar gift certificate in a drawing. Just a little extra incentive to meet as many people as you can.

  • Vendor Video Showcase — You’ve probably been on a sightseeing cruise where they take your picture before you get on the boat and after you return you see all the pictures and decide if you want to buy yours as a souvenir. The Vendor Video Showcase is a similar concept: Everyone who attends the dinner reception has the opportunity to be “videotaped” (digitally recorded actually) for a 30-60 second spot. In the video vendors present their “elevator pitch” and include their contact information. This will be made into a DVD that will be distributed FREE to pharma brand people. Just as in the sightseeing cruise, there will be an additional charge to have your video included.
